Ranking
Most Trusted Crypto Exchanges
"Most trusted" is a security and regulation question, not a fees or features one — so this page uses a narrower score than our main ranking. We combine only the security_track_record and regulation components of the CompareCEX Score (proof-of-reserves, published security audits, known incident history, and financial licenses on file) into a single trust score. An exchange needs at least one of those two components verified in our Knowledge Graph to appear here at all; an exchange with data for both counts more fully than one with data for only one, so the ranking also reflects how much of its safety profile is actually documented, not just the score itself. No exchange can pay for a spot on this list, and we do not infer "trustworthy" from popularity or trading volume alone.
How we ranked: we limited this page to centralized exchanges (type = cex) since the search term is about "exchanges", not wallets or DEX. For each one we took the security_track_record and regulation criteria already computed for the CompareCEX Score (exchange_facts.security {proof_of_reserves, audits[], incidents[]} and exchange_facts.regulation {licenses[]}) and averaged the ones with data, weighted by their normal score weights. Exchanges where neither fact is verified, or where the combined coverage of the two facts is under 50%, are excluded rather than shown with a guessed score.

A high trust score here reflects disclosed proof-of-reserves, audits and licenses on file — it is not a guarantee against future hacks or regulatory action, and it is not financial advice.
