Binance fees in Brazil: VIP tiers, BNB discount, withdrawals
What Binance's VIP fee tiers, BNB discount, and withdrawal costs mean for users in Brazil, plus what's still unconfirmed for Pix and BRL deposits.

Binance review
Binance charges the same base spot fee everywhere, including Brazil: 0.1% maker and 0.1% taker at the regular (VIP0) level††. That number alone doesn't tell you the full cost, because your trading volume, your BNB balance, and your withdrawal method all change the final bill. If you landed here searching taxas binance or taxa de saque binance, this is the part of the fee picture that's missing from our main Brazil guide.
Our Binance Brazil guide already walks through that 0.1% maker and 0.1% taker rate†† with two worked examples. This article covers what that guide didn't: VIP tiers, the BNB discount, what a withdrawal actually costs, and what's still unverified for BRL.

What's the base spot fee? A quick recap
Spot trading on Binance starts at 0.1% maker and 0.1% taker for regular, VIP0 accounts††. This is a global rate. It is not something Brazil-specific. On a R$2,000 trade, a 0.1% taker fee† works out to R$2.00. Small trades, small fees. Volume is what changes the math from here.
For the full rundown with Brazil-focused examples, see binance-brazil. The rest of this page covers what that guide skips.
How do VIP tiers and the BNB discount change the price?
Binance runs a tiered fee schedule from VIP0 up through higher levels, based on 30-day trading volume and BNB balance. Traders can also opt to pay fees in BNB for a discount instead of paying in the asset they traded. Both features are part of Binance's published global fee table†.
Here's the honest part. The exact percentage at each VIP tier above VIP0, and the exact current BNB discount rate, are not in the verified Knowledge Graph data we have for this article. Binance updates that table without much warning. A stale number is worse than no number, so we're not printing a figure we can't back with a current, confirmed source.
| Question | What we can confirm | What we can't confirm here |
|---|---|---|
| Base fee (VIP0) | 0.1% maker / 0.1% taker†† | — |
| Higher VIP tiers exist | Yes, a tier structure is published | Exact rate at each tier |
| BNB fee discount | Feature exists | Current discount percentage |
| Brazil-specific VIP rules | None found | Whether Brazil gets a different schedule |
See our Binance fees guide for more on how the global fee table works. If your trading volume is high enough that a tier jump matters to you, check binance.com/en/fee/trading directly before assuming a rate.
What does a withdrawal actually cost, and what's unconfirmed for BRL?
For fiat bank transfer withdrawals on global binance.com (the entity Brazil users are on, not Binance.US), the published range is $1 to $15 USD, and it varies by method and country†. That's a global figure. There is no separate BRL withdrawal fee number published or verified for Brazil specifically.
A short example using that same range†: at the low end, $1 on a $500 withdrawal is 0.2% of the amount. At the high end, $15 on the same $500 withdrawal is 3%. That's a wide range, and which end you land on depends on the method you pick, not on anything Binance guarantees in advance.
Crypto withdrawal fees follow a different, dynamic schedule set per network and per coin†. We could not pull a current, reliable number for this article. Don't trust a figure you see elsewhere without checking the app first.
Depositing BRL: what we could and couldn't verify
Binance doesn't publish a confirmed, fixed Pix fee. We checked this same question for buying crypto with Pix and found no official number there either. Don't let anyone quote you a flat Pix fee as fact. Check it live in the app before you send money.
How to check your exact fee before you pay
Numbers change. Here's how to see your real fee right before you confirm anything:
- Open the Binance app and go to your account or profile menu.
- Find the fee schedule or "Trading fee" section, which shows your current VIP tier.
- Before placing a trade, check the order confirmation screen. It usually shows the fee for that specific order.
- Before a withdrawal, the withdrawal screen shows the network fee and any additional cost before you confirm.
- Cross-check with the fee calculator if you want a side-by-side of fee types.
This takes two minutes. Skipping it is how people get surprised.
Common mistakes
Chasing a fee discount without checking your real trading volume first. VIP tiers need sustained volume, not one big trade.
Assuming the BNB discount still applies even if your BNB balance is too low, or the setting isn't enabled on your account. Check it, don't assume it.
Treating a cheap trading fee as a reason to trade more often. A common trap is setting a fixed monthly percentage target and then trading just to hit it, which racks up fees without adding any real edge . A low fee only helps if you already had a reason to make the trade.
Moving funds in a rush during a withdrawal pause because of fear, not a plan. That's gambler behavior, not investor behavior: an investor accepts a cost inside a known limit, while a gambler reacts to headlines . Read the incident tracker first.
Quoting a BRL-specific fee number you saw on a forum. We looked. It isn't confirmed.
FAQ
Does Binance charge extra fees for BRL deposits (binance taxa)?
No confirmed, fixed number exists for Pix or BRL deposits. Check the deposit screen in the app for the current amount.
Is there a cheaper way to withdraw from Binance in Brazil?
The published range for fiat bank withdrawal is $1 to $15 USD globally†, and the method you pick affects where you land in that range. There's no Brazil-specific discount confirmed.
Does the BNB discount still apply if I don't hold BNB?
No. The discount only applies when you hold enough BNB and have the setting enabled. The exact current rate isn't confirmed in this article, so check the live fee page before you rely on it.
Is Binance safe to use in Brazil right now?
Binance disclosed a security incident on October 30, 2026 and says it will cover user losses†. Withdrawals have been reopening in stages since then, so check our Binance incident tracker for the current status before opening or funding a Binance account. We don't call any exchange risk-free.
